WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?

Reaper is a very feature packed DAW that gives you professional features such as VCA track grouping whereby you can control multiple tracks with one main VCA track. Awesome. And while it may not be brimming with a great amount of VST instruments and effects the asking prices are very, very reasonable at $60 (discounted) and $225 (commercial) respectively. With the money saved you can purchase some great additional instruments and effects! Reaper is so very light that you can run it from a USB stick!

HOW DOES TECHNEURAL RATE IT?
The Kick Machine is very, very useful. There are some better kick drum synthesizers out there but this is free! Add some compression, distortion, etc. and you could possibly have some monster kicks in your tracks!
